Collective Espresso

Tucker's on Vine St.

MOTR Pub

This is a bar that serves food, too. They also have free music every night from original bands. Free concerts. I love it. I will add pictures later.

They have a vegan BLT with fries and a portabella burger. The vBLT is my favorite. You can get avocado for $1.5. I usually do. I have not been to their brunch, but it looks like you can get loaded tots or breakfast tacos made vegan or the vBLT with tater tots. Fabulous. I usually work brunch, but next week I don't. Yes. I may go to Tucker's though.

Lemongrass in Hydepark

I will get better at taking food pictures one day. This is Lemongrass in Hydepark. Ten minute drive from my house OTR. It's Thai food.

It's nice and small here.

Wine selection.

I selected the Paht Khee Mao. Very oily. Noodles seemed overcooked. Make sure you specify vegan!

Bakersfield got a yellow curry and it had milk in it. Blah. We had a fight after that. I was grouchy about hating my dinner choice. The oil was making me sick. :( I hate when we fight. It was mostly me. My schedule has been too busy.
Next time I will definitely try a different dish. The prices are pretty good. I also had a vegetable soup with tofu. I loved the soup.
Lemongrass is also open until 10:30pm on Saturday.

Main Street Grocery

This is on Seventh and Main downtown in Cincinnati. I can get mangos here for $1. I know I haven't shown a lot of place Over the Rhine yet, but I will.

They also have a salad bar. Only $3 a pound. That is a great deal. They tomatoes and potatoes, too and other such produce.

Cactus Pear

This is a Mexican restaurant
we went to last night. There are lots of vegan options on the menu. Like tofu or portabella fajitas. Or a burrito, or a super kale salad. There's even one enchilada you could get without feta.

My favorite thing though is the tofu fajitas. The lighting was really dark and I forgot my camera. We used a coupon and got $8 off our whole check.

Curries

The lunch buffet at this Indian restaurant is only $6.99. It is awesome. Even though I can only eat a plate and a half.

Clockwise from noodles. The noodles had peas in them and I loved that. The next thing was BBQ cauliflower and potatoes. Kinda crispy and sweet. The yellow rice was good except for the peanuts. The soupy stuff was nice, too. The last thing was just not my fave. I love being able to have so many options at a buffet. Next time I will just get one plate though.

Park+Vine: One of Many Posts

I work here and it's all vegan so I post a lot about PV.

The Moo Goo Gai Pan burger from "The Best Veggie Burgers on the Planet".

Vegan white chocolate from OCD! Very good!

Elephant Walk

This restaurant is near campus. It's Ethiopian and Indian. It's owned by a couple. The wife is Ethiopian and the husband is Indian. This time I got Ethiopian. There were red lentils, a yellow dish with beans and some collard greens. And of course injera. It's really good. Everything tastes fresh. I will have to say that Ethiopian is not my first choice when going out, but Bakersfield is really into it right now.

                                                                             My take-out box.

I did have Indian food, too. I had the Aloo Gobi on another night. It was good. I think I wanted something creamy though. It, too, tasted fresh.

Cilantro

Cilantro is a Vietnamese restaurant near the university I go to and it's one of my favorites. The Vegan Soup is my go-to. I especially love that it says "vegan" on the menu. The service is also really fast here. The prices are good, too.

The Vegan Soup. You can order it mild or spicy. I always get spicy. It cost me $7.49.

Amerasia

This place is in Covington, Ky and Bakersfield loves it. And guess what, I forgot pictures again. Scheisse. But I did get a picture of Bakersfield. Amerasia has little seating, but they do have a bar with La Terza coffee and alcohol! (Hmm, maybe I should go there tomorrow?)

Actually, I don't remember if this is one of his fave places. We had a broccoli dish and I loved it. I got mine a little spicy and he got zero spice. It was basically vegetables in sauce and some white rice. I was hungover and it hit the spot. I also got fried tofu with mine. Prices are good here, too. Next time I will get pictures!

Amma's Kitchen

I didn't get any pictures of food!
Amma's is a South Indian Restaurant in Roselawn. It is all vegetarian. There is lots of seating here and things that have dairy are clearly marked even though I always ask because I forget and want to make sure. I got the Vegetable Korma which is veggies with coconut cream. This is not my favorite indian food place around, but lots of Cincinnatians love it. On Wednesdays they have an all vegan buffet at lunch time. I have not been yet.

Dang. Well, this is Caroline and Stephanie.

This is Ryan, Josh, and Michael.

*Update*
Bakersfield went to the all-vegan lunch buffet on Wednesdays.

From right Bhindi Masala- okra and eggplant, yellow one was Vegetable Korma- coconut milk and vegetables, hot dessert-cream of wheat with fruit and nut and ginger. I don't think I would like that, but BF liked it "A LOT". And some noods with veggies.

He is busy working so I won't ask him the rest. He is a busy bumbly bumble bee.
Bzzz.
